Exposition - Danse Avec les Couleurs - Marie-Claude Mocata
- From 7 may to 15 june 2024
- 7 Avenue de Champagne, Office de Tourisme Epernay en Champagne
- A native and resident of Epernay, the capital of Champagne, she has been a painter for over 20 years and believes that her work is now recognized at regional level, even though her clients are to be found all over France and also abroad, particularly in Australia, England, Germany, Belgium and even the USA ? - Marie Claude Mocata has always been drawn to the arts, in all their forms of expression. - But her real passion is oil painting. She considers it to be the best medium for her artistic expression. She can express all her imagination with total freedom. - But merely reproducing reality was not enough to satisfy her. Over time, her preferred field became abstract art. The charm of abstraction allowed her to detach herself from, and even sublimate, reality. Suddenly, brushes and knives glided harmoniously across the canvas. Shapes, intensities, depths of material and, of course, colors, took their rightful place in his singular universe. - The choice and creative use of color is essential to her work. She prefers subjective associations of shapes and colors to reveal her imagination and express her emotions. - Intuitive, inventive and generous, she paints instinctively to best express her feelings, impressions, intensity and exaltation in front of the canvas. She feeds her imagination with a density, a depth, even an almost surreal jubilation that evokes a praise for life through nuances, colors, figures, aspects and attitudes. - Today, her style is resolutely assertive. For her, painting must be beautiful and pleasant to contemplate. The work and variations of color, as well as the intensity and depth of the material, sometimes become more important than the subject itself. In this respect, and even if the theme of the work is determined in advance, more and more often the subject of the painting naturally becomes ? The painting itself ! An art in which the indeterminate is as much a part as the foreseen ! - Her painting is always original, harmonious, passionate, even cajoling, as she is keen to convey her warmth and optimism. - Her aim ? To please herself and, if possible, to share that pleasure ? - For her, that's what it's all about ! - She has long taken part in numerous exhibitions and fairs, including the famous ART3F (salon des arts contemporains) in Reims. She also displays her work in her gallery in the Carrefour hypermarket in Epernay, on her website and on her Facebook and Instagram pages, where you can find all her latest news. - Exhibition open from May 7 to June 15,2024, - Monday to Sunday, 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5:30pm. - More info : - 06 88 63 49 48 - marieclaudemocata@gmail.com - Https : //http://www.marieclaudemocata.com
