The Nîmes-le-Vieux blockfield, a ruin-like site at the heart of the Cévennes National Park in the north-eastern part of Causse Méjean near Fraissinet-de-Fourques and Perjuret Pass, forms an unusual landscape with its strangely shaped, fantastical dolomite rocks, sculpted by erosion for several thousands of years. Between L'Hom and Gally, a 4.5 km educational trail dotted with interpretation signs invites you to discover the wonders of this mysterious territory!
As well as the walks, you can also see a geological exhibition about the Causse in the hamlet of Veygalier.
