In the Langres region, four reservoir lakes were designed in the late 19th century to supply the canal from Marne to Saône. Nowadays, these pleasant lakes of Liez (290 hectares), Vingeanne (199 hectares), Charmes (197 hectares) and Mouche (94 hectares) will delight fans of walking, relaxation and water sports. There is a wide range of activities on offer, with something to suit all tastes:

Trip around the lake (16 km) by foot or mountain bike, beach (supervised bathing in July-August), pike and carp fishing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, water skiing, ski tubing, pedalo and boat trips and more at Liez Lake, near Peigney;

Bird-watching with many different species along the discovery circuit, beach (supervised bathing in July-August), sailing and more at Vingeanne Lake, near Villegusien-le-Lac;

Pike, pike-perch and carp fishing, beach (supervised bathing in July-August), canoeing, hang-gliding, trips in electric or pedal boats and more at Charmes Lake;

Trip around Mouche Lake (7 km) by foot or mountain bike, near Saint-Ciergues.
