The Savoie boasts a wealth of Baroque churches and chapels from the 17th century. Some churches, such as those in Valloire and Termignon, contain sumptuous Baroque altarpieces. The Baroque Trail (Les Chemins du Baroque), which passes through the Maurienne, Tarentaise, Val d'Arly and Beaufortain areas, is a discovery circuit exploring many masterpieces of Baroque art.

In Lanslebourg-Mont-Cenis, L'Espace Baroque Maurienne cultural centre houses an exhibition of Baroque art.
