Founded in 1886, the Distillerie Rivière du Mât is one of the oldest distilleries on Reunion Island still in operation today. Faithful to this heritage, the Master of Distillation perpetuates this ancestral know-how with requirement and precision, allowing the Rhums river of the mast to preserve their reputation through the centuries. Located in Saint Benoît, the distillery makes rums from molasses from sugar cane plantations, revealing all the richness of expression of the terroir of Reunion. The Distillery has an on-site shop, called "La Cave à Rhums", with a wide range of emblematic products, open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 6.30pm.
