La chaillotière

We have stayed with Michel and Claudie many times and they are a very friendly couple who host very well. The evening dinner and breakfasts are of a high standard and nothing is too much of a problem for them. The location is good - not far from the motorway and the village of Ervy- le-Chalet is no more than a km or so. A very quaint village, very historic and worth a visit. I would thoroughly recommend this reasonably priced accommodation.

I've been traveling in France for 3 weeks now. I have seen many people and accomodations. But they never gave me the same feeling that I had in 'La Chaillotiere'. If I could I would gave a higher score! I didn't feel like a customer but a person who had meaning. Something that is rare these days. I recommend this place for everyone!

We are now regular guests since a few years in la chaillotière. Every time we enjoy anew to be there. The most important thing is the feeling home. The kitchen of Claudie is a favorite one, every time she cossets us with a delicious cooking, always trying to connect the good French cooking with healthy kitchen. Michel who always takes care to show us all the important and nice things in the surrounding in the Champagne and Bourgogne. Also our dog who is loving this home and the people who live there. We can only recommend to make there a stop and to let spoil themselves.

Always, when we are going to the Brittany, we make a stop at Les Chaillots, to enjoy a few days, before we continue our travel. That is holiday ! The beautiful nature, the silence, the good diner together with Claudie and Michel, to discuss and laugh together, that is the real quality of life. We feel like home at that is the real beginning of the holiday.

Claudie and Michel are superb hosts, friendly, welcoming and very well humoured. On offer is an excellent evening meal (and breakfast), including home produce and regional fare, together with generous hosting. We had a lot of fun discussing France, England, families, travelling etc. La Chaillotiere is on the edge of a small village and offers quiet accommodation in an interesting building full of features and charm. Accommodation is generous, well equipped and immaculately clean. Value for money is excellent - you will be delighted.
