A l'Ombre des Coteaux - Marcia Donatti

Marcia is a very fine person who lay the table with her kindness and lovely conversation as well as healthy homehand food. House is hospitable with a warm atmosphere of serenity. Rooms very comfortable. A wonderful holiday.

We stayed at Marcias house from the 5th till the 9th of June 2019. Marcia is a very gentle and caring host. The breakfasts were exquisite ! Very tasty coffee and tea, orange juice, different kinds of home made marmelades, cereals, different kinds of home made bread, yogurt, home made cakes, cheese, … And the best of all : everything is organic. We had very interesting talks about so many different kinds of subjects and she gave us good advice about the visits to make. The room was clean and comfortable. We really felt at home. The house and garden are splendid, in a very nice and quiet neighbourhood. Thank you Marcia for everyting ! Marc, Julie and Sille.

We travelled with friends and stayed at the Donatti-House. Everything was very nice there, great wiew to the wineyards and very quiet. We had breakfast together with other guests in Marcias beautiful kitchen and were served great coffee and lovely homebacked bread. Very nice: -) We had only ten minuts walk to the center of Kayserberg and could reach a lot of great places by car. The wineroute is worth driving.

We were a group of 5 visiting Kaysersberg for the first time. We booked A l'ombre des Coteaux on-line and were very pleased with our choice. The accommodation was excellent and breakfasts on the deck provided plenty of variety and quantity. Kaysersberg was only a short walk away along the pathway besides the river. Our hosts Marcia and Jean-Michel were welcoming and very friendly. Overall this B &B provides a high standard of accommodation at a very reasonable price.
