Camping les Terrasses

Super site with a very helpful owner/manager. Spectacular surroundings, plenty to see and do within easy reach. Saint Chinian is a lovely little town with shops for all requirements (even Calor Gas at the local supermarket). The site is peaceful with a small swimming pool. The only drawback was the hardness of the ground for driving in tent pegs - bring a mallet!

This is an excellant site, the facilities are new and very clean. The pool was not ready, as it was being re lined and filled with water, but will be very good when finished. The view over the vine yards is lovely, and the town is about a 15 min walk away, following a small river.

Pleasant site, with most pitches under trees along terraces. Good sanitory facilities, clean and recently refurbished. Very useful base for Minervois and Southern Languedoc. Swimming pool not available (unfinished?) - Nearby supermarket is useful as site has no shop. The rocks that are bewteen pitches are a problem for caravans, and togther with the deep water channels along the access to the pitches present a severe hazard for vehicles. Signage to the site still suggests it is a Camping Municipal, these signs need improvement to promote the site.
