Church of the Assumption of Notre-Dame from the 19th century, in sandstone:

On May 5, 1868, a decision of the Prefect of Vesoul considers that "the works are necessary and even essential, that the project is suitably established and that the municipality is able to pay the expense using the funds available and the proceeds of the cuts extraordinary de Bois ". He approves plans and specifications. The estimated state of the work amounts to 27,216.30 francs. They are awarded to the contractor Formet. The architect is Jean-Baptiste Colard, de Lure. On June 10, 1869, the entrepreneur Formet wrote to the Mayor to inform him that the arrow measures 18 meters instead of the 16 initially planned on a sketch by the architect. This implies a supplement of 112.76 Francs. The Mayor, Pernin, refers to the architect who replies: Indeed, there are two meters more than expected, which gives more elegance, importance and appearance to the building... to prevent the cattle to graze there. On September 12, 1867 and May 9, 1868 are given to the Municipality the descriptive estimates of the works for the reconstruction of the bell tower and the side ways: "According to the presented project, the bell tower to be built will be placed outside the first span of the church and on the axis of the latter, leaving the first span the same width as the other two. On each side of the bell tower, springs will be provided, the one on the left for the staircase leading to the first floor. the tower, the one on the right intended to receive several movable objects for the service of worship. It will have a height of 10.80 m from the ground to above the cornice crowning the tower which will be surmounted by a spire of 15.50 m high. " Square porch-bell tower with, from bottom to top surmounting the entrance, an oculus and a semi-circular bay. Belfry housing two bells, pierced on each face, from bottom to top, with an oculus and a semi-circular arched bay with ornamentation (roses) and a louver. Octagonal slate roof. Arrow terminated by a pedestal, a cross and a weather vane rooster.
