The museum of Angoulême is reached by a sunny garden at the head of St Peter's Cathedral at Angoulême. This museum offers collections ranging from the paleontology of the Charente, Fine Arts through the extra-European arts.
The Angoulême museum houses one of the largest collections of art in Africa and Oceania in France.
You will be able to appreciate on the 3rd floor a selection of paintings, sculptures, ceramics and weapons from the 16th century to the beginning of the 20th century, and the productions of the artists' workshops in Charente.
