Small village in Ardèche, Arcens is located at an altitude of 646 meters, in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park. It is located not far from Mariac, Chanéac or Saint-Martial, around fifty kilometers from Puy-en-Velay.
Originally scattered between the plateaus and the valley which was on the borders of three lordships in the Middle Ages, the village of Arcens developed over the centuries. Today, the town is mainly focused on its activity of exploiting mineral water sources, producing the famous Arcens water.
