Formerly parish church downtown, St. Anne's church opposes his sober facade, the richly decorated St. Trophime.
Rebuilt in the early 17th century, it bears witness to a period of intense pastoral impulse, in the Church of Arles, driven in particular by the Council of Trent. This is also the time many buildings, civil or religious. Between parishes and monastic institutions, the city no fewer than forty churches and chapels.
