Common new Calvados, Normandy region, Aurseulles takes place about thirty kilometers from Caen and its ducal castle, between the Bessin and Bocage virois, near Livry and Villers-Bocage. She was born on 1 January 2017 from the merger of Anctoville, Longraye, Saint-Germain-d'Ectot, Torteval-Quesnay, Feuguerolles-sur-Seulles, Orbois and Sermentot.
Peaceful, the territory has experienced mainly in farming over the centuries, gradually developing the natural face we know today. However, it was heavily affected by the horrors of World War II, and especially by the consequences of the D-Day June 6, 1944.
Aurseulles however, continues to attract visitors with its enchanting setting, its proximity to some of the most beautiful cities in the region or by its architectural heritage.
