At the heart of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, at the turn of Digne - north of Natural Geological Reserve of Haute Provence - and valleys of the White and Ubaye Auzet is one of eight municipalities in the canton to Seyne les Alpes.
From an altitude of 1068-2028 meters, it is entirely located in mountain areas, away from the main road of Digne Barcelonnette. Access to the village is relatively easy especially bad in winter.
The municipality covers an area of 3500 hectares mainly occupying the watershed Torrent de la Grave, a tributary of Bes.
Surrounded by forests and meadows bordered by hedges, the eight hamlets of the village, located an average altitude of 1200 meters, occupy different ridges of both sides of the banks of the Grave.
