City of art and history, Bergerac draws its features on the edge of the Dordogne. Here, it is good to live. We like to eat and laugh. Gastronomy, let's talk about it! Fresh poultry with foie gras to taste on a piece of toast, that is all the promise of a good meal. The whole is watered of a wine of the country obviously. Place Pelissière, it is the statue of Cyrano that welcomes you. From square streets, the walk is amazed by the intricate architecture of these façades with pointed windows and carved doors. Place of the Mirpe, it is the houses of the boatmen who fascinate. To digest all this, a little tour on the banks imposes itself. Just follow the towpath from the port. The walk is beautiful, the view splendid and the city really unique.
You can begin your discovery of the city by the House of Wines of Bergerac. Established in a house of the seventeenth century, it welcomes you to make you discover and taste no less than 13 appellations of the soil. Wine cellar, film and sensorial room to guess the aromas of the wines are on the program of this really exceptional cellar. The visit of Bergerac continues with the Tobacco Museum. A place where you will know everything about tobacco and its culture. It is 3,000 years of history that are exhibited in this place. Note, the carving machine in series pipes heads should leave you speechless.

In a cellar of the Small Mission is the Costi Museum. You will discover the sculptures of this timeless artist.
For a family day, the miniature port welcomes you for a moment of pure pleasure. Take a boat and go sailing on the waves aboard a miniature reproduction of a typical boat.
