- Geography:
- Located on the eastern borders of Indre-et-Loire and Loir-et-Cher, the town covers 4920 hectares with a perimeter of about 29 km. Agricultural land 2600 ha, forests 2200 ha.
- It is traversed by several valleys, three of which are permanently irrigated by the streams of Aigremont and Céré (which cross the village) and Moulin Brouillon.
