Town of Bouches-du-Rhône, Gémenos is located twenty kilometers from Marseille, just in the foothills of the Sainte-Baume. Watered by the Fauge, it has a nice landscape and full of natural wonders.

Popular with hikers and nature lovers, the Saint-Pons Park amazes with its wealth of tree species, mainly from the Mediterranean coast. Beeches, oaks, pines, charms or limes are so essential in this natural site which also houses the ruins of the ancient abbey of Saint-Pons. Unfinished, these buildings offer a majestic look to the whole.

Many marked hiking trails are indicated from Gémenos or Saint-Pons park, like the GR 98. Not far away, one can also admire the peak Bertagne which culminates at 1000 meters. On clear days, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the bay of Marseille and the Calanques.

Every year in the summer, offers its famous festival Gémenos Arts Greens. singers performances and other comic occur each year in a beautiful outdoor theater.
In July, up to the celebrations of the Saint Eloi with serenades, farandoles, bonfires, traditional banquet and many other ancient animations.
Also in July, Gémenos offers its festival of World Cultures. Organized by The Poulido Gémo of the folk Gémenos whole, it is the opportunity to attend a week of celebrations from around the world.
In August, Gémenos offers its August market with the installation of craftsmen and other artists from throughout the region, from 17h to 21h30.
Every year in November, Gémenos offers gastronomic fortnights to discover the regional specialties and top chefs.
