The association The walls of Charity was founded in 2015 and its first goal was reopened this historic place (closed for several years due to safety). Since summer 2018, the walls are again accessible in large part, including the corridors that offer exceptional views of the city and the Loire. The association organizes throughout the year in maintenance projects and restoration work and culturally animate the scene by organizing exhibitions and concerts for example.
