The Hippodrome d'Ardon is located at Laon, in the Aisne department.
Located in a green setting to the south-east of the city, it is managed by a racing company founded in 1844, which makes it the oldest in France.
The racecourse has a 1300 m long cinder track with a left rope. The course includes a straight line of 350 m. The equipment is classified in 2nd category.
A large car park, a grandstand and a panoramic restaurant have been set up. A large room also makes it possible to organize family receptions, meetings or other seminars outside of racing days.
The Laon racecourse schedules six meetings a year dedicated to trotting, from May to October. Most races give rise to bets.
In a family atmosphere, activities are also dedicated to young audiences (pony rides, inflatable structures).
