Small town of Tarn-et-Garonne, Occitanie region, Mas-Grenier takes place at about thirty kilometers from Montauban, in the heart of the valley of the Garonne. Located in Lomagne, near Castelsarrasin, it was called until the 19th century Mas-Garnier or Mas de la Cour.
Mas-Grenier owes its foundation to a Benedictine abbey dedicated to St. Peter, and founded in the heart of the Middle Ages. Important place of safety of Protestantism since the second half of the sixteenth century, the municipality made submission to the Crown in the seventeenth century following a violent siege.
Today, Mas-Grenier is appreciated for its ideal geographical location to discover the region, but also for its historical architectural heritage. Full of charm, the small city of the south of France attracts by its calm and its unique frame.
