Due to its accessibility, its scientific and cultural project and sharp handling of its collection policy, the Museum of the National Gendarmerie received January 14, 2011, the name " Museum of France ", who enrolled in a national network of cultural institutions of repute.

A resource center : The Museum will allow researchers but also curious simply to deepen their visit with a documentation center and a library, very rich and freely accessible.
