Located in Montréal, in the Gers department, the Gallo-Roman villa of Séviac is an integral part of the Elusa Capitale Antique archaeological complex which is made up of three exceptional sites. Completely restored in 2018, it allows you to admire an incredible and luxurious ancient villa built in the 4th century and extending over more than 6,500 m². It is particularly famous for its set of mosaics, the largest in France, which occupies 625 m² of space.
On site, it is also possible to enjoy a very large thermal area, all surrounded by vineyards and cypresses. To better understand life in Antiquity, guided tours are offered as well as a rich program of events and cultural workshops for young and old which varies each year.
On site, a work by Joao Luis Carrilho da Graça, awarded the Prix de Rome in 2010, offers a link between the ancient and the modern, thus highlighting the entire site.
