A 30 km from Menton, a village nestled in the heart of the circus opens on the Upper Bévéra Mercantour National Park.
A mountain people called "Viber", was the first to settle on the site of Our Lady of Menours. Then came the Romans, then a medieval community. The village of Moulinet appears in the early 14th century. In 1500, the village is erected into a parish and became an independent municipality in 1793.
Its history is marked by two battles on the same site, Authion. The Italian army invaded the county of Nice and April 1945, the first DFL releases the national territory of one of the last strongholds in Germany. Today the village retains its pastoral and forestry.
