Municipality of Loiret, in the Center - Loire Valley region, Neuville-aux-Bois takes place about twenty kilometers from the dynamic city of Orleans. It is located in the heart of Beauce, not far from Saint-Lyé-la-Forêt, Attray and Crottes-en-Pithiverais.
Occupied since the Neolithic, as evidenced by the remains found on site, the territory of Neuville-aux-Bois began to develop in Antiquity. Created in the 10th century, the town suffered the outrages of the 1871 war and hosted a Spanish refugee camp in 1939.
