The Watteau Stage was recently renamed the Antoine Watteau Theater on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of his death.
This decision reaffirms the identity of the theater intended to receive all forms of artistic expression: dance, theater, music, live performance, exhibitions, educational workshop.
The theater was first called the Palais des Arts and was operated by an association. In 2002, it was renamed Scène Watteau.
