22 Place Gustave Courbet, Galerie 22.2
Come and discover the new exhibition of paintings by Laure Anne Lemaire and prints by Florence Crinquand at Galerie 22.2,22 place Courbet, Ornans. - Laure-Anne is an artist from Pontarlier who works primarily with colour and materials. Her paintings are inspired by nature, her travels and discoveries, and her emotions and feelings about the beauty and depth of the world around her. She evokes landscapes bordering on abstraction. Her technique is unique, with superimpositions of oil, water and materials from the place depicted, creating alchemical encounters on the works, giving them depth and chromatic variation, but also a subtle richness of material. Each colour is created from pure pigments that she works and tames, so that she can better feel their own force and make them vibrate with vigour. - Florence Crinquand : "My work is inspired by nature and landscapes. Nature is a source of shapes, materials, atmospheres and feelings. I immerse myself in this richness by first observing and drawing. When the time comes to create, I work with the materials : paper, inks and press. Nature is never static and I look for these movements in my work, in the very act of creation. I try to translate them into lightness and freedom in my work, sometimes to the point of abstraction. I'm in search of the essence of this abundant nature. Searching for the essential through shapes and colours, to convey the deep feelings and intensities that everyone can relate to. I experiment and mix different techniques. Through these printmaking practices, I leave a trace, an imprint of nature and of my interpretation."

For four hundred days, Haute-Saône was in a permanent state of war, the Lion of Belfort today reminds us of the heroic siege of the city, and the retreat > with its passage through Switzerland has gone down in history. This conflict largely reinforced the antagonism between the two nations and was at the root of the two wars that bloodied the twentieth century. The aim of this conference is to shed some light on this
