A Parisian overpass located in the 9th arrondissement, the Verdeau passage takes its name from Mr. Verdeau, one of the promoters and shareholders of the Société du passage Jouffroy and inventor of the linen rental system in hotels and furnished.
Located between rue de la Grange-Batelière and rue du Faubourg-Montmartre, it was opened in the middle of the 19th century. It is today considered one of the clearest Parisian walkways, including a beautiful canopy fishbone. It reveals an elegant neoclassical and refined style and now houses antique dealers and other collectors passionate about old books or other postcards.
