Located at Porte d'Auteuil, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, the Butte Mortemart racecourse is considered one of the French references in horse obstacle racing.
Opened in 1873, the site grew in the first half of the 1920s, offering new stands and an outdoor steeplechase. The Butte Mortemart racecourse now extends over more than thirty hectares with a hedge track, two steeplechase tracks and a track of eight.
Every year, it hosts internationally renowned races such as the Grand Steeple-Chase of Paris, the Grand Course of the Auteuil Hedges, the Jousselin Hague Prize and the Autumn Grand Prix.
