Regnière-Écluse is a commune on the eastern boundary of Ponthieu, north of the Bay of Somme.
The commune was called Regniere in 1793 and Renières-Ecluse in 1801.
At the end of the 19th century, an old watermill was still able to satisfy the inhabitants' needs for flour and grinding for the animals.
