Saint-Cast-le-Guildo

• The Church of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo: The old, old and dilapidated was demolished in 1913. The present church granite Languédias, whose foundation stone was blessed on July 4, 1897, was completed December 3, 1899 but only spent 21 August 1932. • The memorial column: Column Granite 18 meters topped by a cast group contained a greyhound terrace a leopard. The first stone was laid in this column July 17, 1858 and was inaugurated on September 11, for the hundredth anniversary of the Battle of Saint-Cast by the Sub-Prefect of Dinan. This column reminds indeed, a century earlier, the French troops helped Breton volunteers won the battle of Saint-Cast against a British expeditionary force. Burning in Latin inscribed on the column means: "Death is a stain, you alone are great and do great events."
• Port of Saint-Cast Armor: New marina deep sea! After two years of work (2007-2009), Saint-Cast-le-Guildo inaugurated its new marina, wearing rings on 750 pontoon, 20 rings for professional fishing, visitors 10 rings (length Max. 15m) and 250 seats at anchor . The tidal basin is accessible 24h/24, whatever the tidal coefficient.
• The monument Frigate Laplace Baie de la Fresnaye - Plage de la Mare: The September 16, 1950, weather frigate "Laplace" hit a mine in Baie de la Fresnaye, killing 51 sailors. A memorial to the victims was erected Beach Mare in 1952. 8 meters high, it is a prow of a ship from which springs a pyramid symbolizing life cut short by a disaster.
• The coastal path GR 34 - Hiking: 18 km of coastal paths are accessible, offering unexpected views and stunning panoramas. Wander through the GR 34 and 7 loops proposed map walking and hiking, this peninsula bathed in the blue-green waters of the Emerald Coast and the rich heritage (chapels, mills, church).
• The pedestrian connection: A footpath on the side of rocks connects the Great Beach at Port. With a length of approximately 600 meters, this bridge will facilitate such access boaters in the heart of the tourist resort and the marina will be a major economic hub in the life of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo.
• Beaches:

• The wide beach, located in the heart of the resort, away from the Pointe Saint-Cast and Point Guard and bordered by the boulevard from the sea and offers a splendid view of the harbor.
• Pen Guen beach, second beach of Saint-Cast, framed by the Pointe de la Garde and the Bay Pointe.
• The range of Four Vaulx, located near growing areas, a favorite spot for fishermen on foot. This beach is organized by the Tourist Office of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo outputs tides with an explanation of the oyster and fishing trips on foot.
• The beaches of the Mare, the Pissotte and Fresnaye, most secret, they offer stunning views of the Fort Lalatte.
• The Beach Pit, the most remote, located at the western end of the peninsula. Hosted by the Pointe du Grouin Trough.

• The peninsula Saint-Cast-le-Guildo opens its spaciousness riders for long walks through the lush hinterland or on the sandy beaches.
• Discover one of the most beautiful bays of the Emerald Coast with many sea sports: sailing, diving, boat rentals and kayak, cruises and boat trips, fishing.
• Enjoy the harbor facing the Bay of Saint-Malo, delicious seafood and fish fishery in the morning! Turning a hike on the GR 34 or a walk on the waterfront, enjoy the mussel mussels in white wine, curry, Provencal ... Enjoy Oyster Bay Arguenon, and continue with pastry named the castin.
