Saint-Sornin-Leulac is a village in the department of Haute-Vienne and the region of New Aquitaine, located on the RN 145 (Centre Europe Atlantique axis), is a stopover for many tourists who go either to the ocean or to the mountain. The village culminates at 335 meters above sea level.
In the center of the Bourg, a shaded and furnished square with all the shops nearby, allows a moment of rest. A relaxation area with games for children, located at the west exit, will allow you to picnic in complete safety.
The town offers a green countryside with many ponds, two of which are open to fishing (from January 1 to 29 inclusive and from March 11 to December 31). The various fishing licenses are also on sale at the town hall of Saint-Sornin-Leulac.
The Brame River is the main watercourse that crosses the village. The valley of the Brame allows beautiful walks.
Since 1973, the charming little town of Saint-Priest-le-Betoux has been attached to that of Saint-Sornin-Leulac.
The town has several companies, shops, a MAM (nursery house), a nursery school from the large section and a primary school with a preparatory course class. The other school levels are oriented towards the commune of Saint-Amand-Magnazeix.
