Located some thirty kilometers from Marseille, Sausset-les-Pins takes place in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, in the department of Bouches-du-Rhône. The town is surrounded by Martigues, as well as by the pond of Berre, offering a facade on the Mediterranean Sea. Along the Blue Coast, it reveals its charms to tourists from all over the world.

Become independent in 1924, the village of Sausset-les-Pins is a marvelous mix between pinewood and sea, offering a beautiful diversity of landscapes. Former fishing hamlet, it has been classified as a seaside resort over the years, enjoying a family atmosphere and warm. Things to see and do

Surrounded by scrubland, the port of Sausset-les-Pins does not lack charm. From the café terraces, you can admire the numerous boats moored on site. The latter is overlooked by the Château Charles Roux, a 19th century building. There is no shortage of pedestrian streets around, allowing you to enjoy original and unique shops.

Mecca for fishing, Sausset-les-Pins allows the practice, depending on the season, of big game sport fishing, or coastal fishing for rock fish. These can then be enjoyed at home or in the various restaurants in the village.

There is no shortage of beaches and other coves around the coves of Sausset-les-Pins. You will find them by walking the old customs officers' path which extends from Marseille to Martigues. The beaches of Anse du Rouveau, Anse du Petit Nid, Anse du Grand Nid, and Rives d'Or are not lacking in interest for relaxing, swimming or various water activities on offer. especially during the summer period. Events and festivities

The market is held every Thursday morning on the port and Sunday morning in the city center all year.

The first three Sundays of January, the village hosts its sea festival with a craft fair.

In July and August, many festivities such as sardinade and tuna, the fishermen's festival, or the craft fair.

On August 14, the fairy tale is a spectacle of beauty, while the contest of September sees the biggest fishermen of the region.
