Municipality of Moselle, in the Grand Est region, Terville takes place about thirty kilometers from Metz, at the gates of Thionville. It is located in the Thionville region, not far from the Luxembourg border and Florange.
Mentioned in history as early as the 7th century, the commune of French Luxembourg has developed over the centuries, notably thanks to its seigneurial castle destroyed during a siege by the Messins at the end of the 14th century. Nicknamed the King's Quarter because the Grand Condé established his headquarters there in the middle of the 17th century, the town of Terville has retained from its rich past an architectural and historical heritage of great interest to discover the region during a stay.
