Town Hall of Thouars

Monument in Thouars

Originally built for the congregation of the canons regular of Saint Augustine, the town hall of Thouars dates from the second half of the 17th century. Listed as a Historic Monument, it formerly housed a convent, then a college.

The current town hall of Thouars took up residence in the middle of the 19th century. Guided tours are organized there by reservation at the Architecture and Heritage Department.
