New municipality created on January 1, 2017, Val en Vignes brings together the municipalities of Cersay, Bouillé-Saint-Paul, Saint-Pierre-à-Champ and Massais. It is located in the heart of Deux-Sèvres, on the edge of Maine-et-Loire, not far from Argenton-l'Eglise or Genneton.
Mainly known for its agricultural activities, the town nevertheless has an interesting architectural and natural heritage that bears witness to the history of these cities in western France.
