Built in the 18th century, the castle of Villemomble consists of a central body and two classical style wings. Built in the manner of the Folies, former holiday homes of the aristocracy or the wealthy bourgeoisie on the outskirts of cities, it was originally the work of Louis-Philippe d'Orléans. The latter offered it to his mistress at the time, Étiennette Marie Perrine Le Marquis.
Listed as a Historic Monument, the castle of Villemomble then passed from hand to hand, notably serving as a town hall between the end of the 19th century and the end of the 20th century. Completely restored in the early 2000s, it is now used for exhibitions and hosts various activities of cultural associations.
On the facade, visitors can still admire the pediment with the head of Diana which contributes to the charm of the building.
