Things to see and do

Built in the second half of the 19th century, St. Joseph's Church is one of the architectural gems of Vouneuil-sous-Biard. Not far away, it is also possible to discover the Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Doleurs church, also erected in the middle of the 19th century to replace the first church which had become too small.

While strolling through the town, do not miss to discover the chapel of the Priory of Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul from the 14th century, the Château de Boivre from the 19th century, the dovecote from the 16th century located rue Anne Jolly, the bread oven rehabilitated in 2000, the laundry or the Fleury aqueduct. Commissioned at the end of the 19th century, the latter mostly follows the route of a first aqueduct erected in the 2nd century AD.

Several marked hiking trails allow you to discover the local fauna and flora, and in particular the Boivre valley, part of which is classified as a natural area of ecological, faunal and floristic interest.
