The soaked in hot water raisins can replace prunes.
A recipe among others:
120g flour - 80g caster sugar - 2 eggs - 1/2 liter of milk at room temperature (not in the refrigerator) - 1 packet of vanilla sugar.
Preheat oven to 180 °, gas mark 6. When the oven is hot, put a knob of salted butter in the pan and let the dish 3-5 minutes in the oven so that the butter based and becomes just brown, no more!
Mix the eggs and sugar, then add the flour little by little sifting well with each addition of flour. After obtaining a homogeneous mixture egg-sugar-flour without lumps, add the milk in small amounts, stirring well with each addition.
If you wish, you can add the drained raisins or prunes, the end of preparation of the dough. It only remains to pour the batter into the dish in the oven and wait 45 to 50 minutes, then cool all in the dish an hour or less for those who love the Wild still warm.
Variation: You can add an apple diced, rolled in the brown sugar together with the melted butter.
Bon appetit!
