A relatively long walk which requires a detailed map because the route is not signposted. The round trip is 15 km long. You could always plan to be picked up by car to avoid having to make the return trip. The castle is not open to the public, but access to the park is authorised as far as the information board.

Depart from Brissarthe Church.
Depart from the church. Take the main road that runs at right angles to the church, pass the town hall and turn right just before the cemetery.
Make your way to the hamlet of "Le Pin", and take the Champeaux road. Climb up through the Jeunerie Forest along the path which passes to the right of Champeaux.
In the forest, make your way to the signs in the centre of the woods. Pass through the wood. Leave via Gentillerie. Follow the road for one kilometre. At the first junction, enter the park of The Hague Castle.
Return via the same route.
It is also possible to enjoy the round trip between Brissarthe and Jeunerie Forest (10 km).
