The 36-kilometre long Carquefou - Saint-Mars-la-Jaille Greenway, follows the former railway line between Carquefou and Saint-Mars-la-Jaille. Turned into a path for cyclists, pedestrians and horse riders, it is a great way to discover the countryside around Carquefou. Road crossings are signposted and equipped with barriers.

Start of the excursion: Florigny Castle (ALAC leisure centre) at the bottom of Rue du Marquis de Dion.
Follow the signs along the greenway to Saint-Mars-la-Jaille (distance one-way 36 km). Several stop offs available, including one at the Saint-Mars-du-Désert rest area on the lakeside. Return to the starting point along the same route.
