Circuit The low mountains of the Pays de Gex

Depart from the town of Péron, latitude 46.1891600 (N 46° 11’ 21”), longitude 5.9266300 (E 5° 55’ 36”)

• Way to Farges

• Follow the Vie de l'Etraz (an old Roman road), then walk to the viewpoint on the notch in "v" of the cluse of the Rhone south of the massif, Fort-l'Ecluse.
• You will then go up the D76 to Farges village.
• A typical Bugiste village, where you can see: a fountain basin with pure waves, an old church, a castle inherited from the Middle Ages or some old farms with typical architecture.

• Point of view on the Geneva plain

• Climb in the forest to reach a point of view on the crest of Aiguillon du Grand-Crêt-d'eau.

• Take a forest path that descends gently then crosses meadows (east Salève and Alpine Massif, north the crest of the cave at Marie du Jura).

• The Tiocan Orchard: Conservatory of ancient fruit varieties in an orchard of 2.3 ha.
• It is an orchard of safeguard of old fruit varieties: apples and pear typical of the region. A discovery course with 13 interactive terminals, 10 explanatory panels.
