Circuit of Saint Margaret, Sulniac

Depart from the town of Sulniac, latitude 47.6620100 (N 47° 39’ 43”), longitude -2.5343000 (W 2° 32’ 3”)

• Sainte Marguerite Chapel

• At the sign, head towards the village of Sainte-Marguerite by road. Turn left at the first junction. Then, turn right into a hollow path to the bread oven at the entrance to the village of Mont.

• Village of Mont

• Go to the right of the bread oven and leave the village again on the right then left on a farm road. At the crossroads, turn left in the undergrowth to the road D 104 Sulniac-Questembert. Warning danger, road with heavy traffic!
• Cross and follow the field on the left, to the crossroads of Kerhouarn. Turn right towards Les Ferrières then turn left on the forest path. It is possible to see the Chateau des Ferrières, private property of the fifteenth and fifteenth centuries. Follow the hollow path at the bottom of the valley.

• Quil Bridge

Arrived at the Pont-Quil road, go around the houses on the right.

• In the path in the woods, junction with the circuit of the True Cross.
• Go left to the plateau. At the top, go around the field on the left until you reach Kernez and the D 104 road. Beware of danger, heavy traffic! Walk along the road for about 200 m and turn left onto the road. Go around the pond on the right.

• Kernez

• Link to the village of Sulniac by the circuit of the old villages.
• Take, on the left, the path between willow and crops. Walk along the creek and cross the Royer bridge. Sink into the fairly straight hollow path.
• The hollow path is a peculiarity of the region. A very extensive network made it possible to connect villages, farms and towns. A hedge on each side offered protection against rain or heat, but above all the peasants had the right to cut the secondary branches for their firewood and the right to scrape the cow dung that the herds were laying.
• Arrived at the village of the Mont, exit the wood on the right, cross the village and go down the first road to the right to find the bread oven (point 2).
• Take the path in the opposite direction, then go down to the road, turn right. The chapel is less than 100 m.
