Circuit Le Vieil Ecotay - ATV

Depart from the town of Montbrison, latitude 45.5923700 (N 45° 35’ 33”), longitude 4.0721700 (E 4° 4’ 20”)

• Leave the main road to go up on the right (small iron shack). - Brushes: D5, turn left. - 100 m further to the right, your path runs between meadows and undergrowth.
• At the exit of the road, take the small road on the right, then again on the right (Lézigneux). Keep the road up. - The Cluzel: Take the path of Majors to your left in the bend. At the top of the path, turn right, then go up the road on the left (facing the chemin des vignes sign). - D5: At the crossing of the road, go straight on the path that goes behind the big rock. - D496: Go up the road for 100m and turn right.
• Continue until the crossroads to go down on the left facing the abandoned stone house. In the hollow, take the small path on the right. - At the next fork, take the path to the left, pleasant undergrowth overlooking the Moingt to Vieil Ecotay. - Old Ecotay: Go over the bridge spanning the stream of Bouchat and Cotayet, then turn left on the road along the Cotayet. Halfway up the bend, take the path on the right that will take you to Vinols. - Vinols: Turn right, then right again and take the small road that goes up.
• At the junction, turn right again, direction Sainte-Agathe and then Venon on the left. - Cross the chicane to take a path that goes down on Ecotay. Beautiful view of the Ecotay church. - Old Ecotay: At the bottom of the descent, pass the chicane, take the road on the left, then left the path that goes back on the Olme. - The Olme: Take the small road in front, then right, you go behind the village hall. - Turn right on Chemin des Rosiers, then left at the bottom of the small descent. Keep the road until the next crossing.
• Take on the right Chemin de la Garenne, then 200m further on the left, chemin de Toussy. You start a descent.
• The path separates in two, to take on the right then to descend on 300m. - At the bottom of the descent, go on your left, along the stream Moingt. - Cross two chicanes, then go up on the left. - Montplaisir: You find an asphalt part, take the road to Montplaisir which passes in front of the football stadium, you will go down towards Moingt. - You arrive at Moingt Square.
