Depart from Poligny, at the car park near the swimming pool, at the bottom of the Plasne road.

1. Take the Plasne road (D68), then climb up the path on the left towards Dan Cross. When you arrive at the panoramic viewpoint, enjoy the view over the Miéry plain, then follow the fork in the road.
2. Continue on the left towards the Dan Cross and you will arrive at Saint Savin Cross (Saint Savin is the patron saint of Barretaine and Champvaux).
3. Continue for 150 m and pass the Dan Cross car park. Pass the iron gate and continue to the Dan Cross viewpoint.
