Depart from the Gare du Tacot on the side of the D15. From the centre of the town, take the D85 towards Brive.
From the Gare du Tacot, make your way towards Sérilhac. Before arriving in the town, visit the Aubier fountain, a former pilgrimage site with curative waters.
In Sérilhac, visit the 12th century church, its wayside cross and retable. Visit the streets lined with houses built in gritstone.
Follow the small and quiet departmental road towards Langle for 2 km. Admire the restored bread oven, cattle crush and fountain.
From there, make your way towards La Peyrelevade and the arboretum 4 km away. Magnificent view over the Sourdoire valley and the foothills of the Lot. Visit the arboretum and learn more about the forest trees.
Return towards Laumond where you will see a bread oven still used today, and a fountain. The visit is over. Make your way towards the water tower from where there is a view over the surroundings of Brive and return to Sérilhac via the signposted footpath through the fields, pastures and forest.
