Gr22 and Orchid Valley

Depart from the town of Anet, latitude 48.8575900 (N 48° 51’ 27”), longitude 1.4392000 (E 1° 26’ 21”)

• Direction the Valley of the quails by the gr22

• Cross the parking lot of the Friche and turn right (rue André Boxhorn). Once past the Mozart College, take the small path to the left (at the post, between the houses). Continue straight ahead, towards the dead end, pass the barrier and take the right path between the fields. Continue to climb right across the barrier and the road (D21-2).

• Entry into the forest of Dreux

• Continue along the houses to the path (old Boncourt coast).
• Continue in front (on the left) and enter the forest. Continue straight to the crossroads. Take the 2nd exit on the left. Continue straight ahead, cross the intersection and continue to the trench. Do not follow the path that forks right but cross the trench in the direction of the house on this path not marked.

• Panorama on the Valley with orchids

• Reach the maisonette and take the path on the right which overlooks the valley of quails. Continue on this steep path along the valley.
• At the end of the path, take the forest road and turn left at each junction to return to the path of the valley of the quail but this time below (GR22).
• Continue your way and out of the valley turn left to arrive at Boncourt.

• Boncourt and Anet

• Take the path on the left to go up to Anet.
• The leftmost walking trail will take you to our point of entry into the forest. Continue straight to descend on Anet.
• At the stop. Take the opposite road that will lead to Avenue Diane de Poitiers.

• Back to the Tourist Office of Anet

• Turn right at the castle café to return to the Tourist Office.
