The departure of the Voie Verte is in front of the Audinet campsite, on the other side of the road to Coubon.
The beginning of the course (north-south) is located 4 km from Puy en Velay at the exit of the station Brives-Charensac (600 meters above sea level). This is a gentle climb, (2%) accessible to all, to the town of Brignon (940 meters). The greenway uses 5 lighted tunnels and a 184 meter viaduct with metal spans.
Splendid views of the Loire Valley, the Mézenc and Meygal mountains.
