Lac des Bêches from the Refuge Lavey

Depart from the town of Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans, latitude 44.8983000 (N 44° 53’ 54”), longitude 6.2062700 (E 6° 12’ 23”)

• Departure from Lavey Refuge

• The Lavey Refuge is at 2h30 easy walk from the hamlet of Champhorent.

• Arrival at Lac des Bêches

• From the refuge, the trail leaves the bottom of the Vallon de la Lavey to rise very quickly on the eastern side.
• We pass near the Glacier of Between Pierroux then the path is directed to the south to reach the Lac des Bêches which dominates the valley.
• The return is by the same way.
• At the beginning of the season, it will be necessary to be wary of some residual névés in the upper part of the trail.
• From the lake, the view is clear on the head of Fétoules, the Rouies and the Aiguille d'Olan.
