• Departure

• 50m after the church of Jaujac you will find a converted parking overlooking the municipal road. You advise us to leave your car here and then take the dirt road to the right of the car park for about 500m.

• View of the lava flow

• From this point of view we can follow the lava flow. Indeed, the volcano has been gurgling towards the north. We realize that the village is partly built on lava. Nice view of the Chastelas old district of Jaujac and the peaks of Ladenne and Courcoussat summit at 1000m.

• Mare of Peschier

• On your right, open the small gate and let yourself be enchanted by this magical place. Here live more than 20 species of dragonflies.

• Arrival

• Here you have just discovered various places, environments and vegetation on the Domaine de Rochemure. You can now go to discover our village of character, or take the time to stroll on the square of the Champ de Mars. We advise you to walk in the district of Chastelas and continue your visit by following the lava flow, the basaltic flow (+ 1.5km). Beautiful day.
