Loop from Saint Christophe en Oisans to discover an altitude water point that offers a breathtaking view of the Vénéon Valley and the Tête des Fétoules.Despite a climb a little steep, but without difficulty, after the hamlet of Le Puy the hike is accessible to all members of the family. TECHNICAL INFORMATION - Departure: Saint Christophe en Oisans - Altitude difference: 348 m - Duration A / R: 2h30 - Distance A / R: 4.8 km - Level: Easy - ITINERARY - Park at the entrance of Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans, under the cemetery. The start is above the cemetery, by the small road that leaves on the left towards "Le Roure". The route first crosses the hamlet of Le Roure (in the direction of Le Puy). Continue to the old mill of Saint-Christophe above the torrent of the Devil. A few switchbacks then lead to the Virgin of Collet which dominates the valley. The trail then climbs quietly to the hamlet of Le Puy once inhabited all year round and which even had a school. However, it is still very much alive during the summer. Do not miss the pretty oratory and then take the climb above Le Puy towards the Miroir des Fétoules. Then cross to the small lake, turning left at the intersection. Enjoy the lake before continuing the loop by the somewhat steep path that descends into the Devil's Valley. Be careful, do not take the trail towards "Raye du Grand Travers" which is a very aerial trail. Do not take on the left the path that joins the refuge of the Selle and go down to the torrent that we cross on a footbridge. Go up to the road and go down to the City by the path that cuts the road several times and crosses the hamlet of Les Prés and Leyrette. This loop can be done in the other direction. It varies in size depending on the season. Its name comes from the fact that we can see reflected on its surface the Head of the Fétoules and its glacier which advocate in front of Saint Christophe in Oisans. We also have a beautiful view of Lauranoure and its small Refuge de l'Alpe du Pin.
